The Cricket Inn first opened its doors in 1867 and is located within the small fishing village of Beesands, nestled within the idyllic South Hams countryside overlooking the sloping shingle beach of Start Bay on one of the most southerly points in the UK. The Cricket Inn has officially been awarded TWO AA ROSETTES!

We’re incredibly proud of our talented team. Everyone works so hard, both behind the scenes and front of house, to make The Cricket Inn what it is.

This is a huge achievement for our little pub by the sea, and one we’re incredibly excited to share with you all. 🥂🌊

What a night. Sunshine, tacos, cocktails, insane live music, endless dancing, and an atmosphere we’ll be talking about for a long time.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made our Summer Opening Party one to remember. Seeing the pub full of familiar faces (and plenty of new ones too!) is exactly what it’s all about.

Missed this one? Don’t make the same mistake twice…

Checking out how’s it’s done elsewhere, we haven’t been here in a long time, absolutely fantastic. The quality of fish was exceptional! We had the lemon sole and sea bass from the specials, both with sauce vierge, both were amazing,simple, fresh and perfectly cooked. A special mention for the Japanese style tenderstem broccoli, which complimented the fish perfectly!
