Important Announcement

It is with great sadness that we share the news that we have made the difficult decision to cease trading and close the doors of The Old Bakery, after almost eight wonderful years of ownership.

We have truly loved welcoming our fantastic customers and working alongside our brilliant team throughout this journey.

To all of our customers regular or occasional thank you so much for your support over the years. It has been an absolute honour to provide you with great food and memorable nights out. We feel incredibly privileged to have been part of so many happy moments: celebrations, first dates, and countless occasions of well-deserved indulgence.

While it is very sad to say goodbye, we will always look back on our time here with great fondness and gratitude.

We are now seeking someone to take on the business, and we are happy to offer any help and support needed to facilitate a smooth transition. If you would like to discuss this, or know someone who may be interested, please get in touch via email at:

Fantastic evening was had at the awards last night. We were proud to take home a GOLD award for the Old Bakery in the hospitality restaurant category ✨

Well done to all our team who work so hard to make this happen. Our customers love the Old Bakery vibes and more importantly our fantastic selection of tasty Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sharing plates that are full of flavour.

It was great to share the evening with many other local food and drink businesses in Devon, congratulations to the other Kingsbridge businesses who also took home awards ✨
