With Christmas just around the corner, Rocco has been busy getting in the festive spirit and wanted to share our Christmas menu with you all 🌲🎅

Winner of the Wonky Veg
Kate and Graham with their cluster of carrots 🥕

1st place in the largest onion was Jeremy 🧅
Getting his name engraved on the trophy for the Jog 🏆 Well done Jeremy!!!!

1st place for longest runner bean was Pete Robinson for the Boot. with a new record runner! He will have his name engraved on the trophy and i doubt we'll hear the end of it 🤣🏆

You can see in the picture Phil is reluctant to hand back the trophy to Craig, after once again coming second in the runner bean competition 😭 but had the blow softened by beating Bucky and winning a b**r from their gentleman's agreement 🍺

Finally we had a young Joshua who grew the most varieties of veg and he won a special prize of some sweets and a certificate to show his class mates at school!

Thank you everyone that took part, its was a hard summer for growing 🌞🥵

Next year the competition will be at the Boot, let's try and get as many people as we can involved!! Hopefully next year we will finally bring the trophy back to it's new home at the JOG 🤞🏻

We found this lovely watercolour painting of John Robinson Family Butchers Faggots and instantly knew we needed them on the menu 🤤😋

We're back open and feeling fresh after a much needed day off yesterday 🥱😴🤩

We personally think Rocco had the best day......🐾

Firstly he went over to HS Canine Hydrotherapy for another hydrotherapy session 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🥽

Next stop was to see Kate Happy Tails Dog Grooming - Wellow for a fresh trim 💈💈

Finally he went to his second favourite pub after the Jog, to see his friends Rob and Maz at Olaf's Tun Craft Ale Bar for some biscuits and a much needed sit down 🍺🍻🍺🍻
