Unfortunately, Mauds Kilkeel will be 𝓬𝓵𝓸𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓭𝓸𝓸𝓻𝓼 𝓸𝓷 12𝓽𝓱 𝓢𝓮𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻.

With summer coming to an end and the quieter season beginning, we have been hit with a 20% increase in rent, along with rising overheads. Sadly, this has left us with no option but to close our doors for now.

But this isn’t goodbye.

We are already looking at other options for spring, and we hope to have some good news for you in the future.

In the meantime, the amazing Mauds ice cream you all know and love will still be available at Neptunes Kilkeel, down at the harbour. 🍦

All Mauds Kilkeel gift vouchers will be honoured at Neptune’s.

We want to say a massive thank you to every single one of you. ❤️ It has been an absolute privilege to be in the beating heart of Kilkeel and to play our small part in keeping the high street alive over the past few years.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your chats, your smiles and for choosing to call in and see us. We’ve made so many fantastic memories and friends along the way — from crazy band parades with queues out the door, to weddings, functions and all the everyday moments in between.

And to our amazing team — thank you. Your hard work, dedication and commitment have meant the world to us. Without you, the last few years simply wouldn’t have been possible. You have been absolutely brilliant, and we are so grateful for everything you have done.
