Faerie-thyme, a magical place in Wales. A beautiful adult only campsite. A place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Faerie-thyme is a small secluded adult only campsite in Carmarthenshire, set in beautiful peaceful countryside, surrounded by ancient woodland. On site we have three vintage caravans that you can hire for a really relaxing break away or bring your own tent or campervan and chill out around your own covered firepit. 2018 will see soon significant changes. A pizza oven which will be fired up on as m

any weekends as we can. A woodland area for groups to come and pitch up on their own away from the main camping field. How about hiring the whole place for a special event, birthday, wedding or handfasting. Have a look at our new website for more details.

Big day today. Concrete going down for Wish’s new workshop. He’s waited for this for so long. Nearly there now. And all this done with no drawings. It’s all come out of his crazy head!

Sorry to say that due to the continued worry over the Covid-19 pandemic Faerie-thyme campsite is staying closed for the rest of 2020. Hopefully we will be back in Spring 2021 revamped and revitalised. Stay safe everyone.All the best, The Faerie-thyme Crew.

Well today we had the call from Carmarthenshire County Council informing us that all campsites sites are to close immediately. So very sorry to everyone who has booked their gatherings this summer. Once this is all over there will be a party in true Faerie thyme style. Stay safe all. See you on the other side. X###x

Dream a Little Dream

Who is a bit of a dreamer? Academically it could be seen as a distracted mind or a mind that fails to focus. It’s even seen by some as a weakness.
When harnessed and channelled correctly however it can become very powerful. A dreamer has the ability to think out the box, use their mind in a creative way.
From a young age, we are taught to be repeaters, to learn certain ways and repeat them. This alienates the dreamers however, the thinkers and the ones with imagination.

There is certainly a place for learning known ways and repeating them, but we must also allow or imagination to run riot sometimes. There is so many things we can do, our minds are limitless in their potential.
All we need to do is dream.
