This was a dream once and whilst still a dream there was a shift. The dream became a determination and then I knew there was a good chance it was going to become a reality.
I’d got no experience, I could bake a cake, I’d run a department and what I knew I didn’t have was a failure mechanism. My dial has always been firmly set to abundance. Even when homeless, unemployed and penniless, I knew things would change and always remained optimistic. The haters will hate, but they never do it to your face and so they’re never a problem and they’re not doing this, nor could they. If they’re offering you a one star? They’re living a one star life.
Nine years ago I found out I’d got this place and we’re where it needs to be. As long as you continue to support us, we should be okay. It’s certainly not easy and don’t ever believe it is. Like a lot of businesses, it’s month to month and the little I manage to put by, I save to use for improvements. Just last week six outside chairs went missing!? However, I’ve just signed the lease for another six years. That’ll take me to 67 and then we’ll see.
For now, I’m enjoying my coffee while a baby Robin hops around my feet. My father was called Robin and so whist no longer here, the reminders keep him close.
Live your life, only yours and thank you. I couldn’t keep it going were it not for a lot of support xx
