Firstly, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent messages, cards and kind wishes since we had to close due to a family emergency. The support, patience and understanding we’ve received has meant more than you’ll ever know.
I’m pleased to say Dan is now on the road to recovery. It will be a gradual journey, but we’re finally heading in the right direction.
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take a few extra days to make sure we’re ready to welcome you back properly.
I’m delighted to say Peggotty’s will reopen on Tuesday 7th July! ☕🍰
I’m incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team around me, and Lara has kindly agreed to step up as Manager while I balance being at the tea room with supporting Dan through his recovery.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back and see some familiar faces. Thank you again for all your kindness and support—it really has helped us through an incredibly difficult few weeks.
