A most unusual end to a Saturday night, 3 of our ales all finished at once!!! Which means we have a brand new line up ready for a super sunny Sunday! Even better with a lovely roast beef 😋
We are incredibly proud of our b**rs and work hard to maintain the brewery quality. It was a very special moment to be informed by Dave Huddart on behalf of Mid Anglia CAMRA that we are once again in the Good B**r Guide for 2027.
This is a huge honour to us, particularly because it is you the drinkers that keeps us in there.
We promise to keep championing real ale and the amazing range of local and national breweries out there, if you promise to keep drinking it…. Cheers 🍻

We are kicking off the change in seasons with our new menu and new design!!!
We didn’t dare take away our slow cooked brisket lasagne so that’s still there, along with autumnal favourites like sausage and mash, with a little extra something! And of course our grill is still in action for steaks and burgers.
To help us get the word out we are giving you another chance to win… this time it is two of the dishes in our main meals section.

Well what an exciting day!!! It’s the start of National Cask Ale Week and it just so happens that Timothy Taylor's Brewery Landlord is the b**r of the day, and we have just been named as one of their Champion Pubs !!
We have our first monthly steak night from 5pm tonight, eat in or takeaway.
Then it is most definitely the weather for Sunday roasts!! And we will be starting ours this Sunday the 20th.
