With heavy hearts we are sad to learn the passing of a great Netherfield clubman, supporter, barman & friend to many. Our condolences go to Sue & the Postlethwaite family at this sad time.

Ian, of Kendal, passed away peacefully at his home on the 26th May 2026, aged 77 years.

Beloved husband of Sue, loving father of Cathryn, Liam and Daniel. A proud grandad to Olivia, Lily, Dylan and Evie. Ian will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will take place at Kendal Parish Church on Thursday 18th June 2026 at 12.30, followed by a private burial in Parkside Cemetery. Followed by refreshments at Netherfield Cricket Club It was Ian's wish that those attending wear clothing they feel comfortable in.

Donations made in memory of Ian will go to The Rosemere Cancer Foundation, a charity which Ian supported for many years. These can be made via poss.muchloved.com
