Sorry guys, I’m getting hit with a wave of it,it seems - closed as I’ve been ill and still unwell. Thought it had been sorted and nope.

So, closed today, will try for tomorrow, and adding another day on Saturday 11-5 again.

Open 10-6 today and Friday, and then 11-5 on Saturday to make up for the midweek shakeup.

Sorry guys, am taking today off too.

Partly it’s to protect you guys from this horrible phlegmy thing that seems to have attached itself to my face like the face hugger from Alien, partly it’s out of self preservation and saving whatever dignity I have left every time I cough.

To make up for it, I will be opening up on Saturday from 11-5, so please add that to your diaries or consider popping in if you’re done with the busy-ness of the high street then.

Thank you all for understanding and I will see you either Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-6, or Saturday 11-5.

Well, definitely feeling the autumnal feels this morning! Newer additions to the cakes include the white chocolate & gingerbread cookie, and the candied toffee apple cake :) lovely stuff that just helps bring the cozy pumpkin vibes a little earlier!

Card for the week is “don’t explain your philosophy. Embody it.” I mean, enough said, right?

Back to regular hours this week, so that is:
Mon & Tues 9-5
Wed - Fri 10-6

Different hours this week, because it’s bank holiday Monday and also I have a prior engagement on Thursday evening, so I can’t stay later. The other days are as normal.

So… that means:
Monday 11-5
Tuesday 9-5
Wednesday 10-6
Thursday 10-5
Friday 10-6

Happy Monday!

Drizzle is kicking in but you know what? That’s all good! It’s nice to have a little bit of the cooler weather and a little rain is actually needed at the moment in so many parts :)

But of course, if you’re feeling the drizzly Monday blues, you could just have the cake - in this case, the hazelnut Blondie is a Nutella-y goodness that pairs so well with a flat white (made with Pinnacle beans from Podda & Wren Coffee Roasters , and your choice of full fat or semi skimmed moo juice OR oat milk…. This one is oat milk for moi!).

Have a lovely Monday and let’s raise our mugs to a wonderful rest of the week.
