Looking back on Summer 2026… ☀️
As we look back on what has been a busy summer, we feel incredibly grateful for the long spells of sunshine and, more importantly, for seeing so many people out enjoying themselves and supporting hospitality businesses across the UK.
For a little while, the busyness of summer almost allowed us to forget about the pressures and challenges our industry continues to face. Sadly, we’ve seen a number of hospitality businesses around us close their doors or go up for sale — a stark reminder of just how challenging the current climate is.
So, we count ourselves very lucky to still be here, doing what we love, and that’s largely thanks to ''you''.
To all our wonderful customers — thank you. Thank you for choosing to visit us, for eating, drinking, staying, celebrating and supporting Crooklands. Every visit, booking and recommendation genuinely makes a difference to our business.
And finally, a huge thank you to our amazing team. ❤️ Thank you for stepping up when needed, supporting one another and going the extra mile throughout another busy summer.
So, as summer draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to appreciate how lucky we are — and to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support us.
