A big Thank You to the staff for covering myself and Beas holiday to Palma Mallorca. 🇪🇸
We had a lovely time relaxing and swimming in the sea with a couple day trips out including another vintage train journey. 🚂
Back to work today, serving all day breakfast, lunch and afternoon cake and coffee.

Sorry for being so quiet these last few weeks on here!
You can tell it's the last week of the summer holidays as you've been keeping us very busy.

This week's specials are still channeling summer as we hold on to the last of the sunshine so come in and enjoy the garden whilst the sun is still shining.

We've been very busy baking with cake orders these last few weeks, something we've just only started to do, so if you have an event, meeting or party that you need some sweet treats for, please get in touch as we would love to cater for you

The Kendal BID summer trail is still on until 6th September, so come in grab a map and your free lollypop, a FREE event that takes you round kendal.

On the specials this week!

Breast of chicken cooked on the griddle in a creamy mustard sauce, served with seasonal vegetables and crispy potatoes.

Gilled goats cheese salad, with roasted Mediterranean vegetables in a homemade sun blushed tomato pesto.

Don't forget we have hot and cold options on the children's menu including the very popular sandwich boxes. Choose from cheese, egg, jam or ham filled with a carton of juice, fruit and a homemade chocolate chip biscuit. 🍪

What a fun day to be in Kendal!

The Kendal fun day is on today in the town centre offering free activities for all the family, once you've built up your appetite come down to Charlie's for a bite to eat, refreshing drink and a lovely bit of cake 🍰

The early bird breakfast butties deal is on until 10:30am and our afternoon hot drink and homemade cake deal is on from 2pm!
These deals are served daily🥓🥪

Serving hot food until 3pm and shutting at 4pm

This week's specials!
With the world cup in full swing we have taken inspiration from around the globe to get in the spirit⚽

Classic local cumberland sausage, fried eggs and fries🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Inspired by our recent trip to Italy we have a pesto Mediterranean vegetable, melted brie and rocket focaccia🥪

The popular Hawaiian burger is back adding a sweet and savoury flavour to your next lunch with grilled pineapple and our roasted honey mustard ham

For a light lunch we have the homemade Spanish omelette, served with mixed dressed salad and our delicious red onion marmalade.

We've had a delicious selection of bread arrive fresh this morning from the amazing bakers at Waterside Bakery all available on the outdoor market today and in the shop Polka Deli shop
