Just popping on to show you this lovely number I made for my friends wedding last week 🌸
I’m having lots of fun working for but haven’t had any time for any extra baking, so I won’t be taking on any other orders like I said I would (at the moment!)

I’m off to work for the amazing
I’ll be doing some baking and working for them in their new café so you can still pop and see me for a coffee 💙
Until then I’ve got a lot to sort out and a couple of holidays 🌞
Once I’ve got in the swing of things I’ll be doing some celebration and wholesale cakes so you haven’t completely got rid of me 😉

Yesterday was the last day the three of us worked together 😩
I’ve worked with some wonderful people but I don’t know how I would have done the last couple of years without these.
Who knew I could find 2 people that talk more than me 😅
Thanks for putting up with me as your boss, for being my therapists, washer uppers, brownie cutters, dating advisors, for helping make decisions, making me drinks and snacks when I’m stressed and for being lovely friends.
One day in the very VERY distant future I might miss all the noise 😜

I have some very sad news…
I’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close the café 🥺
The last couple of years have been really hard on us all, especially us small business owners. With things not getting better very quickly and not looking like they’re changing anytime soon this is the best option, for now.
I honestly do not have the words to thank you all. For 9 years I’ve been living my dream and (most of the time) loving it and loving all of you lot!
I’m so incredibly grateful to Beccy at Project 229 who for some reason took a chance on a 23 yr old with no business experience and then gave her another chance to go solo 5 yrs later 😅❤️
All of the staff I’ve employed over the 9 years you have been great-especially the fantastic team I have now, I really REALLY could not have got this far without you 😘
But for now it’s time for new things…I’ll fill you in soon!👩🏻‍🍳☕️🍰
Closing day is Easter Saturday so you have 2 weeks left! 💙
