Well it’s somehow Christmas Eve already! Traditionally one of our busiest nights of the year, if you can please use the online ordering. It really helps us out.

We’re open 4pm - 7pm tonight with the rest of the hours for the festive period as follows

Thursday 25th - closed
Friday 26th - closed
Saturday 27th 4pm-9pm

Well that wasn't how we expected today to go, especially after kemnay seeming to escape the worst of it yesterday. Sometime after i spoke to SSEN it seems half of kemnay went out too.

Just like with every power outage since Storm Arwen, our amazing staff stepped up to the plate on a moment's notice. We can't thank them enough for coming in today and helping us get things done!

We try to get back to everyone who sends messages and answer the phone but we just can't. One minute were busy but managing, the next minute we're completely swamped

Since Arwen, we've made sure to be ready for anything. We've seen comments that some of you didn't know we were open because you had no internet. Please know that we are equipped to run on a generator if the power goes out. While we're mainly set up to provide hot meals, we do have some capacity for hot water as well. The only thing out of our hands is getting the official go-ahead from SSEN to supply on their behalf.

Im just home so not had much time to look around but does anyone know if areas are still without power? SSEN are due to call tomorrow but just trying to figure out the level of demand for tomorrow ahead of time if possible

We've been asked by ssen to provide free hot food for those still without power. We will be open from 2.30 till 8 and at the moment aim to run the full menu.

We will be closed for a couple of days break on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th July. Back open as normal Wednesday onwards.

UPDATED - APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

We have a couple of vacancies opening up in the next few weeks that would suit someone looking for an after school job.

The job will require weekend working as well as some after school shifts.

Duties include taking orders and payments, packing orders, general cleaning and other day to day tasks involved in running the shop.

No previous experience required as full training will be provided. Must be 14+ and able to attend an interview on Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th of March.

Anyone who has left details since the beginning of the year will be contacted seperately, anyone who left details before 1st of January this year and is still interested please send another message and let me know you are still interested.

Not something we would normally use this page for but do we have any roofers following us?

Along with probably everyone else at the moment, we are looking for someone to repair our roof. We have been trying since last October but with all the rain recently I’m sure everyone is in the same situation and it’s proving difficult to get someone.

It’s to repair a few different areas but 1 in particular reallly does need looking at asap, the rest can wait. Even just for a rough repair and can be fixed properly later. I know everyone is in the same situation but hoping someone is able to help.

Christmas eve 4 - 7
Christmas day CLOSED
Boxing day CLOSED

Saturday 30th 4 - 9

We are then closed Sunday 31st to Wednesday 3rd January. Reopen on Thursday 4th as normal.
