💙💛 Together, we are making a difference! 💙💛

We are incredibly proud of what A Helping Hand has achieved so far within our community.

From our community and pop-up markets helping over 300 local families access free household goods, to supporting individuals and families with shopping, essential items and vouchers when times are tough, we’ve been able to make a real difference to people across Kelty.

We’ve also been delighted to support local schools and the nursery, while continuing to work alongside housing officers to help some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

None of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers. Your kindness, compassion and dedication make everything we do possible.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support A Helping Hand. Together, we’re building a stronger, more caring community for all. ❤️

Florida Salad 🍍🍊🍎

As requested by Sona and Shona and after a confab with V fae the Deli, we have attempted Florida salad, a fruity style coleslaw.

Pam’s a yes, Amanda’s a no!

There’s a guy comes in once every MONTHS on an off chance looking for my homemade brownies as he had one ONCE, donkeys ago and loved them. Every time he comes in, I haven’t made any 🫣

He came in last week and again….disappointment! I’m guessing he’ll not be back in for a few months now but guess what…..today we have homemade brownies.

Moral of the story…..come in more often and up your chances 🤷‍♀️ or keep an eye on Facebook to see what delights we have 😂

🥖 The Baguette Platter - Baguette rolls filled with a selection of fillings.

🥧 The Pie Platter - Mini Scotch, Macaroni or Steak shell pies. A great alternative to a sausage roll. Available as a mixed platter or choose just one kind.

🍓The Mini Cream Cake Platter. Mini Strawberry tarts, chocolate eclairs or cream fingers. Available as a mixed platter or a full platter of one or the other.

*Please note the pie and cake platter both require 48 hours pre ordering.

The return of Mezzaluna Flatbreads

Mezzaluna means half moon. Our flatbreads are a delicious pizza type bread ready to be filled and toasted with any of our delicious chickens. I’m thinking Italian chicken, mozzarella, tomato and maybe some pesto?! 🤔
