What we took on and where we are at now.
Plus the mock up of what we were aiming for and a new mock up of where we are now going…

We had planned to take the building back to bare render and strip the doors/windows back to bare varnished timber. Unfortunately the contractors, who we didn’t appoint, opted to paint the render a sandstone colour and suggested that painting the timber brown was easier than stripping and varnishing.

The contractors downed tools on 25th Feb.
After 9 weeks, it was pretty evident that nobody was coming back, as such we began to progress the paintwork. Unfortunately there was a shedload of preparation work to do. Hampered by weather and busy weekends.
The frontage isn’t finished, watch this space.
