Whoops! We forgot to change our website!
We are open today-Sunday 2nd August 10-4.
At the very start of the season we had a scheduled closure for a private event which has since been postponed but I forgot to update Google and our website 🤦🏼‍♀️

🥳HAPPY 9th ANNIVERSARY TO US!🥳
9 years ago we got to the keys to our dream… our first tearoom at Adam & Eve street in Market Harborough!
What an amazing 9 years it’s been and we have been truly blessed with the support and love from all our customers and team members past and present ❤️
9 years ago we would have never imagined how successful and massive this little dream would have become

Join us at Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens | Northamptonshire annual Fairy day event on Wednesday 29th & 30th July.
Head over to our website sweetpeastearoom.co.uk and click on the fairy day tab to book. Adult lunches also available to pre book.

A fairy picnic box to enjoy at the Kelmarsh Fairy picnic in the woodlands event on Wednesday 29th or Thursday 30th July.

To include:
A butterfly sandwich
Teddy bear picnic crisps (Pom bears)
A fairy cake
Lady bird spots (raisins)
Elf juice (fruit shoot or water)

Plus mini bubbles and activity (not suitable for under 3s due to small parts)

Unfortunately we are unable to cater for other dietary requirements via pre booking, our normal lunch menu is available from 11am-3pm on the day from the tearoom including GF, Vegan and regular menu items.

Collect from the Tearoom when you arrive.

❤️THE BOSS WAS WORKING TODAY❤️
Miss Sweet Pea was working today, she made a few drinks, taste tested the cakes, made a lot of ‘tester’ refresher drinks, created a mess then took £20 out the till!
Penelope is the reason behind the name, she is fondly referred to as Pea hence the name Sweet Pea’s Tearoom as all the hours and hard work we put in is all for her ❤️

🧸TEDDY BEARS PICNIC🧸
Another busy day here at for their first Teddy Bears picnic.
Daisy dog was one of our first visitors so had to try on one of the headbands.
The tearoom team have enjoyed the fun of the day after a hot stressful week and bought in their favourite teddies.
Teddy bear picnic boxes went out and lots of cakes and treats sold 🧸

☀️BANK HOLIDAY☀️
Thank you to everyone who visited us on an extremely busy bank holiday. Not only did we have the sunshine and usual bank holiday madness, we also had 2.5k caravans attending CLUBFEST who also visited the hall, gardens and tearoom.
The team did incredible!
We were hot, you were hot, we were running around in 30+ degree heat outside and even hotter in the kitchen…. Doing our best in extreme heat and demand.
Staff will always come first, we have a young team and some that aren’t as young as they used to be 😜
We usually have the opportunity for staggered breaks but it was relentless and non stop.
Somehow we still feel the need to justify ourselves and our decisions we make for the comfort and safety of our team.
Regulars will know we are a family run business with family values. Would you want your son or daughter coming home after a 6 hour shift in this heat with no rest, food or drink?
