🏏💙 WHAT A DAY — THANK YOU! 💙🏏
A massive THANK YOU to absolutely everyone who helped make our Charity Cricket Day such a success yesterday, raising money for Dementia UK.
From everyone at The Old White Bear and Glusburn Cricket Club, we’d especially like to thank:
🙌 All our volunteers who gave up their time to help set up, serve, sell tickets, run stalls, bake, BBQ, tidy up and generally keep everything running throughout the day.
🎁 Everyone who donated raffle and tombola prizes — the generosity from local businesses, friends and customers was incredible and gave us a fantastic selection of prizes.
🤝 Our brilliant sponsors who supported the event and helped make the day possible.
🏏 And, of course, all the players who took to the field and provided the entertainment! Thank you for getting involved and playing the game in exactly the spirit the day was intended.
And finally, thank you to EVERYONE who came along, bought raffle and tombola tickets, donated, ate, drank and supported us. The turnout and generosity were fantastic. ❤️
💰 We’re delighted to announce that the amount raised will exceed £2,000 for Dementia UK! 💰
We still have some sponsorship money to come in, so we’re not quite ready to announce the final figure yet. As soon as everything is collected and counted, we’ll publish the final total.
