💛 A wee appreciation post for our Charlie. 💛

If you've ever visited our Bishopton shop or phoned in an order, chances are you've met Charlie.

He's the one with the quick wit, the endless banter, and the ability to keep the shop running smoothly no matter how busy we are. Whether he's serving customers face-to-face or juggling a queue of phone calls, his customer service is second to none.

Tonight was one of those busy busy nights where food was running behind schedule. We completely understand that waiting can be frustrating, but what isn't acceptable is taking that frustration out on the person trying their best to help you.

One customer chose to make personal comments about Charlie's appearance. For a grown man to come into a shop and insult a young member of staff over a short wait for food says far more about his character than it ever will about Charlie's.

Charlie, we're incredibly proud of you and the way you handled yourself. Thank you for everything you do for Peggy Chang's and for every customer who walks through our doors.

If Charlie has ever made you smile, had a laugh with you, or looked after your order, we'd love to see some appreciation for him in the comments. We think he's one in a million. ❤️

We hate to say it, but due to unforeseen circumstances and a few “new branch teething issues” (turns out chopsticks don’t fix everything 😅), our Bishopton branch will be closed for the rest of the week.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s already popped in to try us – the opening was far more popular than we ever expected and we’re honestly blown away by the support! ❤️

We’re working behind the scenes to get everything running smoothly and will be back up and firing on all woks very soon 🔥
