Good luck to everyone taking part in the Great North Run this Sunday! 💛 We are open as usual 9am–4pm! ☕️🐝

🚧 A little road closure info: Priory Road to Jarrow Hall will be closed 7am - 1pm, so if you’re driving to us, you’ll need to access the car park from the bottom of Church Bank Road. Or why not make a nice stroll to us and avoid the traffic altogether? 👟

☕️ RUNNER’S FREE DRINK!
As a little thank you to all the amazing runners helping to raise money for such important charities, we’re offering one free standard hot drink per runner.
Available 14th–28th September and includes:

BYE BYE MATTY 🥺👋🏻

There’s been tears, plenty of hugs & “Chicken Fried” on repeat.

We just want to say a hugeee thank you to Matty for all he has done for Hive over the past few years. Often behind the scenes, Matty is the sort of person you can trust whole heartedly, he’s a good egg who cooks the best eggs. Our little coffee shop and team have been in safe hands with him, giving myself (Eve) the freedom to see Hive in a new light & make some important changes to help the business long term.

We’re gutted to see him go, but wish him the best of luck in his new job as head chef. We always want whats best for our team (and sometimes that’s not with us). So it’s really sad, but we’ll be okay.
