SAMANTHA IS GOING TO BE A MUMMY!

Our beautiful Cochin Samantha is extremely broody, she keeps trying to steal my customers’ eggs!
So this weekend she and a couple of others will be going to the maternity ward(a smaller house with a built in pen for some peace and quiet) where they will work hard to hatch out some babies 🥰

In about 27 days we will have some fluffy cuteness on the farm to show you.

Still not much capacity for anymore customers at present, the girls are laying a little less with this sweltering heat 🥵 and I don’t want to disappoint anyone 💞

Due to high demand I’m unable to take new orders on at the moment. HOWEVER I am picking up another much bigger coop next week 🎉 therefore I am looking to grow my flock so that I can provide those who have messaged with some delicious eggs.

My two cockerels, Charles and Adam, will be thrilled.

I’m looking to add some special breeds to the fold, all of which will be thoroughly spoiled in their new surroundings so watch this space!

Half a dozen eggs for £2:50 or a dozen for £4:00- delivery free in Ivybridge, Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. Pre-orders accepted for weekly deliveries.

Because my girls are not commercially farmed, I’m limited to a certain amount of customers. If I have surplus I will post on here.

I’m not making profit, just trying to cover the cost of chicken feed while ensuring eggs we don’t eat as a family don’t go to waste 🥰

Our girls would like to introduce themselves. Let’s start with Sharon.

Sharon is an odd looking Aracauna. She may look a bit weird, but she lays little blue eggs! She’s also a sweetie. Definitely one of the more timid of the hens but up for a cwytch when she fancies.

NB the chickens usually free range but there’s a foxy lurking around so they’re currently in their own protected space. It’s ok though- they have plenty of room to roam- we have 6 acres!

Fresh free range eggs- delivery in Ivybridge and all of Torbay. Bright orange yolks because my hens aren’t cooped up. They have the chance to eat the bugs and the good stuff that makes eggs extra tasty.

You need to wash them yourself- you need to store them appropriately. Most importantly you need to taste the difference! Shop bought eggs have absolutely nothing on these.
