IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We feel it is necessary to address further misinformation that is being circulated regarding our hotel.

Claims suggesting that tour buses arriving at our property are connected to the accommodation or transportation of immigrants are completely false. These allegations are entirely untrue and are now becoming increasingly ridiculous and out of hand.

Coach tours and holiday groups have been a major part of our business for many years. We regularly welcome visitors who travel with organised tour operators to enjoy holidays, short breaks, dining experiences, local attractions and overnight stays. The coaches seen arriving at our hotel are carrying holidaymakers and legitimate tour groups, exactly as they have done for many years.

There is absolutely no connection whatsoever between these tour coaches and immigration-related activities. To suggest otherwise is simply false.

We are extremely disappointed to see people taking photographs of our tour buses and sharing them online accompanied by inaccurate claims and speculation. Not only is this misleading, but it also risks causing unnecessary alarm and unfairly damages the reputation of our business, our staff, our guests and the many tourism partners who work with us.

We urge people to think carefully before sharing unverified information online. Speculation and assumptions presented as fact can have real consequences for local businesses and the people they employ.

We would like to thank our customers, staff, Police Scotland and the wider community for their continued support and for helping to challenge misinformation with facts.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are aware of false rumours currently being circulated regarding our hotel, including claims that immigrants are being housed here or that individuals are being transported to and from border locations. These allegations are completely untrue.

We want to be absolutely clear: there is no truth whatsoever to these claims. The spread of this misinformation is causing unnecessary concern for our staff, guests and the wider community.

The utmost safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is, and always will be, our highest priority. We are taking this matter extremely seriously and will be working to establish where these rumour originated and how they have been circulated. The relevant local authorities will also be contacted, as the impact of these false allegations on our business, employees and guests is a significant concern.

We ask that anyone sharing or commenting on these claims considers the consequences of spreading unverified information. If anyone has information regarding the source of these rumours, we encourage them to contact us directly.

"From our very first enquiry meeting right through to our wedding day, every single detail was handled with the utmost professionalism, care, and attention.

Katie was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She has such a calm, caring, and reassuring nature and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for her. Planning a wedding can be stressful but Katie made the entire process feel effortless and enjoyable. She was always there to answer questions, offer support and ensure everything ran perfectly. We genuinely cannot recommend Katie and the Riverside Lodge highly enough.

Our wedding party and guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was. From the stunning new bar area, the delicious canapés and drinks, the immaculate rooms, the gorgeous gardens, to the exceptional service from every member of staff – everything exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was second to none and it was clear how much hard work and passion the entire team puts into making each wedding special. Every part of the day flowed seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.
