The correct price was £31.40 💰

Quite a few of you managed to guess the exact price, so all correct entries were entered into a random draw.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who took part in the competition.

It’s clear there’s been some confusion, and that’s completely down to me. The post description mentioned 2 fish suppers, while the photo only showed 1 fish supper 🤦‍♂️

When running the competition, my intention was for people to guess the price of the items shown in the photo. However, I appreciate that some people based their guess on the written description, which is completely understandable.

To keep things as fair as possible, I’ve selected the winner based on the items shown in the photograph.

The correct total for the items in the photo was £20.40, made up of:

🐟 Haddock Supper – £10.50
🥣 Curry Sauce – £1.70
🥤 2 Cans – £3.00
🥔 4 Fritters – £3.80
🧄 Garlic Dip – £0.70
🥒 2 Pickles – £0.70

Total = £20.40

Looking through the guesses, some folk were pricing up fish suppers like they’d been flown in from Heathrow Airport! 😂✈️🐟🍟

Congratulations to Duncan McNeil, who had the closest guess and wins the £25 voucher. 🎉👏

I apologise for the mix-up. It was a genuine mistake on my part, and I’ll make sure the next competition causes less debate than the price of a fish supper!
