Roots Community Café is run by Ipswich Community Media, a local charity nurturing creativity, learning and community with refugee and migrant communities in Ipswich.

We had a freshly prepared and pretty healthy salad in there today, from a choice of 10 different salad selections. Delicious and great to have a healthy choice option.

Hello September.

We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but there’s definitely a hint of autumn in the air.

So while we make the most of the last warm days, we’re starting to look forward to the food that comes next. Big bowls, warming spices and lunches like this.

The humble baked potato, except ours isn’t very humble.

Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Yes please!

A proper warming, filling lunch, made fresh at Roots and ready to be loaded exactly how you like it.

The only difficult decision is what you’re putting on top. Can be Vegan/Veggie/Gluten Free and available to eat in or takeaway.

Served 12pm-2.30pm.
