We make our fish and chips with the same level of precision as our tasting menu.

Batter with soda water and a splash of vodka for lightness and crunch, triple-cooked chips, and tartare sauce made with koji mayo.

A little extra detail, a lot more flavour!

Chelsworth Open Gardens returns this Sunday. 🌿

One of our favourite days in the village is back.

As you explore more than 20 beautiful private gardens throughout Chelsworth, stop by to enjoy a drink and a Suffolk hog roast in the garden, with live music from The Three Chordettes providing the soundtrack throughout the afternoon.

If you’d prefer to join us inside, we’ll also be serving our traditional Sunday Lunch, available by pre-booking only.

To celebrate English Wine Week, we’re shining a light on one of our favourite local producers, Burnt House Vineyard.
As this week’s Wine of the Week, we’re pouring both their elegant Pinot Meunier Rosé and vibrant Bacchus by the glass, giving you the chance to discover two distinctive expressions of Suffolk winemaking without committing to a full bottle.
Whether it’s the bright red berry fruit and delicate freshness of the rosé or the aromatic citrus and elderflower notes of the Bacchus, both are made for long summer afternoons and evenings in the garden.
Available by the glass all week.

Sunshine, a cold pint and a spot in the garden. ☀️🍺

We’re proud to pour some of Suffolk’s finest breweries on tap, including Suffolk Blonde Dry Hopped Lager from Chevallier Brewing Company in Eye, alongside Helles Lager and Beyond the Firs Pale Ale from Burnt Mill Brewery, brewed between Stowmarket and Needham Market.

Three very different beers, one thing in common: they’re crafted right here in Suffolk by people who care.

Risotto of peas and broad beans with fine herbs, lemon oil, aged parmesan and truffle.

Full of flavour, with just the right balance of richness and lift.

Sunshine, a spot in the garden and a glass of Vouvray.

Jack’s latest pick comes from the Loire Valley and is made from 100% Chenin Blanc. Off-dry and beautifully balanced, it offers notes of citrus, quince and honeycomb, with a fresh mineral finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Pair it with Sam’s saffron-cured red mullet for one of our favourite combinations on the menu right now.

Available by the glass all week. 🍷
