He was given an award for most outstanding performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008, as part of the InvAsian Festival.

Sal also starred in the BBC’s ‘The Worlds Greatest Elvis’ also in 2008, with host Vernon Kay, appeared on BBC’s ‘Test The Nation’ with Anne Robinson and Phillip Schofield.

Sal was selected from over 40 Elvis’ or Elvi!) to sing ‘Hound Dog’, live to over 10 million people!
