More in the caption👇🏾

Flat white milk: steamed

How to: keep the nozzle on the right-hand side of the milk jug, slightly submerged in the milk and steam it on full power

Cappucino milk: frothed

How to: keep the nozzle in the middle of the jug, slightly submerged in the milk and froth on full power.

The whirling motion will make the milk frothy, giving it a different texture to steamed milk, which is generally used for flat whites and lattes.

Italians have truly revolutionised the coffee industry by creating the espresso machine and all the espresso-based drinks that followed.

They also gave us a simpler way to brew rich, espresso-style coffee at home: the moka pot.

Although, Italy isn't a coffee-growing country, Italian coffee is an international symbol of slowing down and being in the moment.

Dolce far niente with a delicious cup of coffee brewed to keep us company.

That's why we added an Italian blend to our range. It's a tribute to Italy's lasting influence on coffee culture and the rich, full-bodied flavour that has inspired coffee drinkers around the world ☕

Ever wondered why your coffee bag says chocolate, berries or caramel when there’s definitely none of those things inside? ☕

Those are tasting notes, and they’re there to help describe the flavours and aromas you might recognise when drinking the coffee.

Coffee naturally contains hundreds of aroma compounds, some of which are also found in foods we already know. Where the coffee was grown, its variety, how it was processed and how it was roasted all influence which flavours eventually make it into your cup.

So no, we haven’t secretly added blueberries to your beans 🫐

Next time you brew a coffee, take a sip before checking the tasting notes and see what you can pick out first.

What’s the most unusual tasting note you’ve come across?

Does instant coffee actually have more caffeine? ☕️

It’s easy to associate a stronger, more bitter taste with more caffeine, but that’s not necessarily the case.

Caffeine content varies depending on the coffee, serving size and how it’s brewed.

So, instant or freshly brewed? The winner really comes down to taste and personal preference.

What’s your pick: instant or freshly brewed?
