It’s that time of year again, Sunday Roasts are back for Autumn 2026 at OnTheHuh.

We have penned in 2 dates, 4th Oct, and 1st Nov. Book in early to guarantee a space, as we are already half full for the first date 😁

I have had to increase the prices somewhat, but to offset that, much like at the beginning of the year, you can BYOB for a small corkage fee (which should save £10-£15 on a bottle of wine shared between 2 👍🏻🍷🤪

Also to add more value, our legendary Cauliflower cheese is now a standard 👌🏻

Hello everyone. Sorry we are going to be closed all this week..again I know. We are serving our TwistedTapas at in Somersham throughout the bank holiday weekend, so I will need all week to prepare and organise.

We will be open again next Wednesday 2nd September at 9am.

I always say the perfect brownie should be cooked like a medium rare steak. A good crust on the outer edges, and soft in the centre 😎👌🏻.

Remember we are open on Saturday for Ipswich vs Sunderland for breakfasts from 9am.

ps sorry but we are closed again all next week for a bank holiday beer festival weekend that we are catering for at Duke of Marlborough pub, Somersham, where we will be serving our TwistedTapas Friday-Monday.

Hello everyone. We are back open 😎 after a sold out TwistedTapas event at Somersham last Friday. Don’t miss their bank holiday beer festival, with some great live music each day, in a couple of weeks that I’m also cooking for. Unfortunately this means the cafe will be closed again next week.

We are open this week Tuesday-Saturday 9-5pm, for some of the best value barista coffee in town, brought to us by Coffeelink - Shops & Roastery.

Our flat white has a 20g double shot, with 4oz of whole milk steamed to perfection, hopefully with a pretty pattern on top, and still only £3.25. Drink in or takeaway.

Also serving all day breakfasts, sandwiches and toasties on our homemade light wholemeal bread, salads, omelettes, thick fruit smoothies, iced coffees

Hello everyone 👋🏻

Unfortunately we will be closed again next week, and again in 3 weeks time. I have some big OnTheHuh kitchen takeover events happening, and I can’t be in 2 places at once. We will be at next weekend cooking my TwistedTapas menu (now sold out), and again over the bank holiday weekend.

We will be open 9-5pm for Ipswich vs Sunderland on Sat 22nd, and indeed the whole of that week.

We are back from my amazing week away in Anglesey 😎

Pop in for great locally roasted coffee from Coffeelink - Shops & Roastery, thick fruit smoothies, blended ice cream shakes, homemade cake, and our infamous scones, cooked breakfasts with Suffolk free range meat from M&M butchers, sandwiches and toasties all on homemade light wholemeal or granary bread, and delicious summer salads.

We are open this week 9-5pm Tuesday-Saturday. Next week we will be closed from Thursday onwards as we are doing a (now sold out at 50ppl 😁) TwistedTapas kitchen takeover at in Somersham.

🌞 another baking hot day and our patio doors are open letting in a nice breeze.

Pop in for one of our iced lattes, or try one of our range of frappes, which we blend with good quality ice cream, a double espresso shot, whole milk, and just a couple of ice cubes, all served up in a frozen glass, and topped with aerosol cream 🤤
