There are only three tables out front — but what a place to sit.

Right on the street of The Bell Inn Kersey, you can dine al fresco with uninterrupted views of a magnificent medieval high street, framed by 14th-century houses that have stood the test of time. And just a few steps away flows the iconic “Splash” — our historic ford that still runs across the road, where water and village life continue their centuries-old dance.

This is not ordinary dining.

This is history served with every plate. 🏰💦

At the rear of the pub, there’s even more space to enjoy it all — with dining available on our terrace or in the garden 🌿🍽️ and on weekends, our outside bar is open, bringing a proper Kersey atmosphere to long lunches, late afternoons, and easy-going evenings.

We’ve given our terrace a fresh new feel, rearranging our outdoor dining space with tables and chairs that better reflect the refined dining experience we’re known for. The same Bell Inn character, just a little more polished. 😉

Better still, our large sun canopies keep every terrace table comfortably shaded – exactly where you’ll want to be with temperatures hitting 25°C this weekend. Prefer a little more space? Our garden is waiting too. 🌳☀️

Our outdoor bar is OPEN all weekend, serving cold pints, crisp wines and everything needed to accompany a proper Suffolk summer. 🍺🍷so escape the ordinary, this is your sign to dare to dine differently.
