🏆🐟🍟 THREE YEARS RUNNING! 🍟🐟🏆

We’re delighted to say that we have once again been awarded the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) Quality Accreditation — making it three years in a row!

It’s an award we’re really proud of because it looks at everything that goes into running the shop properly, not just the final fish supper.

The inspection covers things like food quality, hygiene, staff training, equipment, frying standards, where our ingredients come from and the quality of the food we serve.

To keep the accreditation, we had another full inspection from an NFFF Approved Assessor who looked at how we prepare, store, cook and serve our food, as well as the cleanliness and standards throughout the shop.

Getting the award once is brilliant, but keeping it for three years in a row means even more to us because it shows we’re keeping those standards up year after year.

A massive thank you to Abby, Alexa, Monica, Neve, Ella, Olivia, Nola and our Manageress Keira, who all work hard to help us keep those standards high.

Another mention also goes to Noel, who carries out our chip preparation and makes sure everything is ready before service begins. 🥔🍟

We also currently have 9 new members of staff going through their training, learning how we do things and the standards we expect at Garioch Fish Bar.

It really is a team effort and everyone plays their part, whether that’s preparing food, cooking, cleaning, serving customers or making sure orders go out right.

And of course, a huge thank you to all of our customers. ❤️

Whether you’ve been coming to us for years, visit every week or have only recently found us, we really do appreciate the support.

We’re proud to be part of the Inverurie community and we’ll keep doing what we’ve always tried to do — serve great fish and chips, keep the standards high and always look for ways to improve.

A guy in the shop the other night was saying you guys know how to cook a fish supper.
I recognised him from years ago when I played a lot of golf and it was Keith Hird from Murcar, the Aberdeen Links Champion and Scottish internationalist.
I said to Glen…. See that chap sitting there he once led The Open Championship at Muirfield in 1992, was an amateur qualifier, first out and birdied the first hole.
Glens looking at me thinking NO WAY.
So Keith overhearing we are now talking about golf came up and said…. Oh well my claim to fame is I once led the Open Championship.
Small world and I hadn’t seen him from the 1990’s.
