Change (noun) — the process of moving from one chapter to another…
The Dreamy Goat has been such a huge part of my life for the past five years. What started as just working a few hours a week grew into so much more — a warm, welcoming space filled with great coffee, friendly faces and a genuinely lovely community.
Becca and Jasmine were such a big part of those early days too. The three of us poured so much of ourselves into creating the feel of this place — relaxed, welcoming, quirky, a little bit fun, and somewhere people could come and feel at home.
Over time it became more than just a coffee shop. It became a rhythm of mornings unlocking the door, familiar faces at the counter, regulars who became friends, and a space that still means so much to all of us.
But life shifts, as it does. Becca and Jasmine have both grown and flown the nest, so to speak, and I’m finding myself ready to slow the pace a little and explore what my next chapter might look like. With that comes the time to start looking for someone new to take over Dreamy Goat.
I’d love to find the right person or family to carry it forward — someone who will care about it, bring their own energy and ideas, and keep this little place filled with great coffee and good people.
The building is also under my ownership, so there is flexibility to either agree a new lease or purchase the property alongside the business.
