At The Wee Delhi, every grain tells a story🌾

The basmati rice we serve traces its roots back to the Himalayan foothills of the Indian subcontinent, where rice farming has been part of life for generations.

From the flooded paddy fields of Bangladesh and surrounding regions, to harvesting, ageing, and cooking, every step helps create the delicate aroma and flavour basmati rice is known for.

It's the most popular accompaniment to your curries followed closely by naan (whose history we’ll discuss in a future post!)
