Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that came over today, it was incredible to see so many folks celebrating our first milestone and we couldn’t be happier to be supported by such a cool community!

Here’s to many more langos, scallops, oysters, lobbies and good times with good people

A special thanks to our friends Chris, John and Darren who entertained us with their tunes and to Loch Fyne Oysters who donated a whole bunch of oysters for our Buck’a’Shuck in support of Inspire Inveraray who looks after ther Pier

We’ll be back tomorrow with a limited menù (y’all rinsed us today!) and open all the way through the week as we have the amazing happening on Tuesday!

It’s (nearly) our BIRTHDAY!

Yup, in exactly a week time the Shack will be turning one year old!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all so please come say hello as we’ll be having a great time and raising funds for our wonderful Pier.
The good folks at Loch Fyne Oysters will be providing us with fresh oysters which will be shucking at £1 each and all proceeds will go to Inspire Inveraray, we’ll have the talented Chris Suckle, Mic Clark, and a few more friends bringing guitars and bagpipes to keep you entertained and our friends vagabond Pizza CO. will be baking pizza, too!
•
What else? Just make sure you bring your best mood and a prosecco or can of b**r and we’ll have a ball!
•
We’ve also ordered a sunny day but that’s still tbc, although good times are guaranteed regardless!

Here’s our SUNDAY ROAST LOBSTER!

We had it in mind for ages and we finally decided to go for it!
The freshest lobster by the one and only The Electric Lobster Fisherman along with our homemade yorkies, roasted tatties, courgette, tomatoes and fennel, all generously wet with our langoustine bisque!
•
We’re hoping to continue the Roast every Sunday over summer, hopefully with summer weather as well!
•
And speaking of good weather, make sure you come say hello on July 19th for our first birthday, the weather that day is gonna be amazing!

Doesn’t get fresher than that!

We had a great time at Loch Fyne Oysters checking out their oyster farming process. It was great to understand better this wonderful and sustainable produce which is right on our doorstep, and it’s a pleasure and honour to be able to work with them!

In other news, we’ll be closed for the weekend as we’re “Shipping up to Edinburgh” (pun intended - more stories to follow), we’ll see y’all back on Thursday July 2nd!

Would you believe that these two characters will be celebrating their first birthday in a month?

Yup, on Sunday the 19th of July the Inveraray Seafood Shack will blow it’s first candle and we’d love as many of you as possible over to Inveraray so we can celebrate in style.
We’ve ordered a truckload of sunshine for that day (hopefully it’ll be delivered) and some of our good friends are gonna come over with their instruments for a day of good vibes, fun and of course excellent seafood
•
We’ve teamed up with with our good friends at Loch Fyne Oysters who will provide us with oysters which are gonna go be Buck’a’Shuck with all proceeds going to Inspire Inveraray for the upkeep of our wonderful Pier.
Because if there’s no Pier there’s no Shack so please think about donating as it’s for a great space owned and ran by the Community who make this place so wonderful

Claudio prepping dinner for your dinner!

The Loch has been good to us today, we’ll be full on with the prep tomorrow and be fully open on Friday!
The hatch will be closed but we’re in so if you’re coming by tomorrow just chap the door and we’ll sneak some goodness out of the side door, like a seafood speakeasy!

First of all, excuse the picture, I’ve combed the photo gallery and realised the only picture of the three of us together is an early morning (slightly hangover?) selfie…
No need to apologise tho, as this means that we were incredibly busy having a great time!
•
The first a biggest thank you goes to our pal Ben who helped us out over the weekend and kept y’all entertained with his high energy-dungaree fueled banter, followed by a massive well done to the whole organisation machine behind , you guys smashed it out of the park!
And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came by the Shack to say hello and enjoy our food!

We’ve had such a good time and can’t wait to be back next year!
