A rather surreal morning at The George…

We had absolutely no idea this was coming, but there we were, included in This Morning’s ultimate Traitors-inspired getaways - with The Library getting a special mention too.

Thank you and the team for including our wee corner of Inveraray.

Naturally, this has now raised some questions about the theme for our Halloween party… 👀

Fancy doing something a little different this Friday night?

We’ve still got a few spaces left for our Gin & Charcuterie Night with Edinburgh Gin.

We’ll start with a Hugo Spritz before being guided through five Edinburgh gins, each paired with its own cheese and charcuterie pairing - then finish with a (not too serious) gin quiz.

And if you fancy making a proper night of it, there’s live music in the pub from 9.30pm.

A proud day at The George!

A huge congratulations to four of our brilliant team; Ryan, Daisy, Alfie and Logan, who received their exam results today. Juggling school, exams and shifts with us is no small thing, and we’re incredibly proud of them all.

They’re a big part of our team and it’s great to see them doing so well - both here at The George and in their studies.

Very well deserved. We hope you’re all feeling as proud of yourselves as we are. 🫶

Sunday 26th – We're delighted to welcome the Inveraray Pipe Band as our special guests. After the pipes, keep the party going with live music from Starsky!

Music starts from 12:30pm and keeps the good vibes flowing all day with an incredible line-up featuring: Mic Clark, Clair Tierney, Free Born Kings, Dopesickfly, Bone Idle Bros and Liam Doyle.
