Basically, it’s 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓, 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐊𝐘, 𝐅𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅𝐘 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 that sits on top of your iced drink and slowly mixes into it as you drink.

So instead of just having cream dumped on top, you get this lovely creamy layer that makes your cold drink 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓. 🤤☁️

☕️🍂 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟… 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗭𝗬! 🤯

In a good way though! It’s been SO busy at House of Coffee this year and honestly, we’ve loved every minute of it. 🥰❤️

We thought it was going to be a little quieter this week…

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢𝗧. 😂

Still busy! Still making coffees, still feeding you lot and still wondering how it’s already September! 🤣❤️🥰

I’m currently sat at home, still very much in work mode, and I’ve somehow ended up thinking about next year’s menu…

𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗜 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘. 😂🤦‍♀️
Because apparently my brain does not understand the concept of finishing work and switching off.

I’ve got loads of ideas floating around in my head, I’m already thinking about things I’d like to change or add next year, AND there are still a couple of things I’d like to try out before we finish this season.

Bueno ice latte……. 😍🤯

𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗜 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗗… 𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗦𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛. 🤣

And I’m actually buzzing about it!

I love thinking about menus and new ideas and all the little things we can try. Sometimes I’ll have an idea and think “ooooohhh that could be good”…
…and then realise I’ve just created another job for us all. 😂🤦‍♀️

But that’s the fun of it!

We’ve still got 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧 yet, so don’t worry, we’re not doing the dramatic “see you next year” speech just yet! 😂
But that will come in no time 🥹
For now there’s still lots to come and I’m excited to see what the rest of the season brings. ❤️

𝐒𝐎… 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍?! ☀️😂
Honestly… excuse us while we try to work out WHERE that just went?! One minute we were preparing for the summer madness and the next we're at the end of August wondering who pressed the fast-forward button. 😮‍💨😂
And what a summer it's been at 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞! ☕🥰🖤

We've served approximately….47 million coffees*, made enough pancakes to build a small house and watched an impressive amount of iced drinks disappear out of the door. 😂

*Possibly a slight exaggeration. Possibly not.

🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

This season we've also been quietly getting our heads down and making a few changes 👀
Nothing wild. We haven't reinvented coffee. 😂 But we've made lots of subtle improvements to help the business keep moving forward and growing.
Some smarter, more professional-looking menus 🙌🏻, our upgraded outdoor seating, a couple of supplier changes and plenty of other little tweaks behind the scenes.
Same 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 you know and love… just constantly trying to make it better. 😏

We've been lucky enough to have the same brilliant core team back with us from last season, welcomed some fantastic new people AND even had one of our old staff come back, which genuinely made us ridiculously happy! 🥹💛
It's been busy. It's been pressured. There have been long days, queues, mountains of washing up and plenty of moments where everyone has had to just crack on and get through it.
But they have worked incredibly hard, kept their sense of humour (mostly 😂), dealt with the pressure and continued to give their best.
So, a huge shout-out to 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞… you lot have smashed it. 💛☕
