A great opportunity has arisen for us to make this legacy even bigger.
We are so grateful for everything we achieved, Happy Spoon Ingleby - Home Of Ice Cream & Desserts was/is not JUST an ice cream/ desserts parlour.
Always learning. Always creating. Always raising the standard 😉
The quality, authentic and glamorous kept our place so fabulous and alive for a decade.
Hard work, dedication, passion, sacrifices and positivity thinking left great memories for our customers/ community.
We’re forever grateful 🙏🏼 thank you everyone for your support.
Because of our standards and unique approach HAPPY SPOON 🤍💜🤍💜 wasn’t meant to please everyone, it wasn’t for everyone. But that’s ok you can’t please everyone, we do believe that when 100 customers crossed your door way and only 5 were not happy well that a great job done anyway.
Running a business in this country took more than good luck and a honest smile.
We’re grateful that though this business we made lots and lots of people happy, an ordinary day we changed into memories through our desserts and what we created.
SOMETIMES we’re forced in directions that we ought to have found for ourselves. To serve people takes dignity and intelligence. And although we served them, we are not their servants. What we do does not define who we are.
We did not grow in comfort, we grew our business in chaos and hardship.

For us it was always the people going nowhere that had something mean to say about running our business.
People will forget what we said or what we done but they never forget how we made them feel.
We are very excited for the opportunity to open two new locations and so ready to be even greater than we are.
From tomorrow the Ingleby Barwick location will be closed and a new owner will be in very soon.
