Hi folks,
We test ourselves (and our staff) regularly to ensure that we’re all safe here, subsequently I don’t think I could now count the amount of these damn home tests I’ve done (i certainly don’t have enough fingers and toes!) but just now whilst doing the home test mine (Alex) came up with a positive result.
I feel perfectly fine, zero symptoms, i’ve not been pinged by the app nor to my knowledge been anywhere near anyone with or in contact with the virus. We’ve also had both of our jabs. I don’t think we have it.
Patz’s test showed negative, now I’m convinced that mine is a “false positive” as a second test showed up negative, however because of the positive result, were going to suspend service until we get the all clear from a postal test (on its way!).
Some might consider this to be overly cautious, but I know that I wouldn’t like to live with myself if I knew that I’d put anyone at risk.
Its better to be safe than sorry, so I’ll be doing the responsible thing and isolating until we get the all clear.

All our FOH & BOH staff have tested negative. 🙂
UPDATE: Well, still nothing back from the lab yet so that leaves us with no choice to remain shut this week 😢
