MANCHESTER, WE LOVE YOU ❤️

Last night we opened our doors for our soft opening… and what a night.

The team were incredible, the pasta was flowing and after months of building, planning and a fair bit of chaos, Pranzo Manchester is finally here. 🇮🇹🍝

We officially open Wednesday 16th September from 12pm.

Manchester, it’s time to come and see what we’ve been working on.

WE MADE A MISTAKE… 🤭

When you mean to order A3 window posters and somehow end up with something closer to A0…

So the proper window posters will have to wait — but at least it gives us a very subtle way of telling you that our AUTUMN SET MENU IS HERE 🍝🍂

14 DAYS TO GO… 🇮🇹🔨

Does it look like a restaurant? No.
Does it look remotely ready? Also no.
Is Marco concerned? Increasingly. 😂

But apparently, in TWO WEEKS, this building site will become Pranzo Manchester.

Pasta will be made. 🍝
W**e will be poured. 🍷
And hopefully, the builders will have left.

What could possibly go wrong?

Send us a picture of your team, just before you go into service, Safe to say, they did NOT disappoint. 😂❤️

Some wholesome. Some questionable. Some we probably shouldn’t have encouraged… but every single one made us smile.

We talk a lot about our homemade pasta, our food and what goes onto the plate — but Pranzo isn’t just pasta, it’s our people

The people who welcome you through the door, make your pasta, prep the sauces, pour your w**e, remember your favourite table and somehow keep smiling after a Saturday night service.

They’re the ones who create the atmosphere and make a meal at Pranzo feel like Pranzo.

Great food matters. But great people make the experience. 🇮🇹❤️

3 PRANZO CLASSICS 🍝

Homemade pasta is at the heart of what we do at Pranzo, here are 3 classic pastas you will always see on our menu 🇮🇹

🥩 Beef shin Ragu - this recipe takes inspiration from Marco’s Nonna and their home in Calabria, southern Italy, good quality beef (we use Yorkshire beef!) tomatoes, olive oil and seasoning tossed through homemade Mafalde pasta

🌶️ Nduja paccheri - Marco created this dish with his father Antonio, they wanted to use Ingredients sourced directly from Calabria, spicy Nduja, homemade fennel sausage, spinach, cream and paccheri pasta

🍤 Seafood Bigoli - while working and living in a coastal town of Tuscany, Marco loved making and eating this dish, shell on prawns, calamari, mussels, tomatoes, garlic, parsley and butter with homemade Bigoli pasta

P.s they will all be on our Manchester menu as well 😃
