For one night only, The Box Tree heads to the vineyard 🍇
Whilst our restaurant undergoes its exciting refurbishment this August, we’re delighted to be joining for an exclusive evening of food and wine on Friday 7th August.

Brayden Davies and the team will present a luxurious three-course menu with canapés, thoughtfully paired with award-winning Dunesforde wines by Head of Wine, Peter Townsend. Throughout the evening, Brayden and Peter will guide guests through each pairing, sharing the inspiration behind every course.

Hosted in Dunesforde Vineyard’s beautiful Roman Room, this intimate collaboration offers a unique opportunity to experience The Box Tree in a stunning vineyard setting. With just 40 seats available, this special evening is expected to sell out quickly. £130 per person.

Thank you for all of the kind messages and support following our refurbishment announcement. The excitement for what’s to come has been incredible to see. Our Eras evenings have proved so popular that we’ve added two additional dates: Friday 24th July and Friday 31st July, as our Saturday evenings are now almost fully booked.

The menu remains the same on every Eras evening, celebrating iconic dishes from The Box Tree’s remarkable history, thoughtfully reimagined by Brayden and the team. We can’t wait to welcome you over the coming weeks and share this special chapter with you before an exciting new one begins 🥂

For more than six decades, The Box Tree has evolved, shaped by the chefs, guests and moments that have defined each era of its story.
Before we close our doors this August for the next chapter, we’re taking one final look back.
Across the final four Saturday evenings before our refurbishment, Brayden Davies presents Eras, a menu inspired by dishes from The Box Tree archives, thoughtfully reimagined for today while paying tribute to the restaurant’s remarkable past, including moments from the years in which The Box Tree held one and two Michelin stars.
Rather than recreating history exactly as it was, these are respectful interpretations of the dishes that helped build our reputation, served in a menu format inspired by those original decades.
Available on 11th, 18th, 25th July and 1st August, the same menu will be served on each date, offering one last opportunity to experience the heritage that has shaped The Box Tree before we begin our transformation. We look forward to welcoming you to The Box Tree!

A new chapter begins 🍾

This August, The Box Tree will temporarily close its doors for a £500,000 refurbishment, marking an exciting new chapter in our story.
Working alongside award-winning interior designers Studio Two, we’ll be carefully reimagining the restaurant while remaining true to the heritage and character that have defined The Box Tree since 1962.

Before we close, Head Chef, Brayden Davies presents The Box Tree: Eras: a special tasting menu inspired by iconic dishes from throughout our history, served on 11th, 18th and 25th July, and 1st August.

Our final service before refurbishment will take place on Saturday 1st August and we look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 9th September.
