Ipsum Vinoteca A coffee shop when it's too early for wine, a wine bar when it's too late for coffee, and a shop all day long.

Ipsum, "itself" in Latin, Vinoteca as its name says, is a concept of its own. Ipsum Vinoteca is a wine bar and a wine shop with the biggest selection of boutique Italian wines and craft beers in the UK. Ipsum Vinoteca is a 20 seat restaurant with a menu changing daily only using local, fresh and seasonal ingredients and a coffee house for times when it is definitely too early for a glass of wine.

The famous frutta martorana: almond paste lovingly shaped and coloured to look like miniature fruit and vegetables. Almost too beautiful to eat… almost!

They’ve just arrived fresh from Sicily, and apparently they brought the Sicilian sunshine with them!

Come and choose your favourites before they decide Ilkley is too cold and head back to Sicily…

This month, w**e meets the movies, with three tastings inspired by some unforgettable film titles.

We’re also introducing WINER —a new event for people who love w**e and would like to meet like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Meet people, not profiles. Less swiping. More sipping.

If the response is positive, WINER will become a monthly event.

Here are our September tasting dates and times!

We look forward to welcoming you for, as always, great w**e and even better company.

During our Montalbano’s Sicily tasting, we will also sample an exceptional premium Sicilian extra virgin olive oil. We’ll first taste it on its own - just as the professionals do - before enjoying it with a slice of proper bread… if I can find one! 😉
