We are looking for a hardworking and reliable **Potato Person / Prep Assistant**

Key Responsibilities

* Lift, carry and move **heavy bags of potatoes and other stock** safely.
* Assist with **kebab preparation**
* Help with general food preparation and kitchen duties.
* Keep stock and storage areas organised.
* Clean and sanitise food preparation areas, equipment, floors and other work areas.
* Work efficiently independently

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

* Physically fit and comfortable with **manual handling and lifting heavy bags**.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Comfortable carrying out repetitive preparation and cleaning tasks.
* Able to follow instructions and maintain good hygiene standards.

We are looking for someone to join our team on for 2/3 evenings a week plus holiday cover.

Who we are looking for:

Energetic and self-motivated

Trustworthy and can work under pressure

Can do attitude; multi-task and problem solver

Available to work from 4pm until closing times

Age 18 or above

General Requirements:

Understanding of good customer service

Happy to get involved and help the team where needed

Counter service, taking and wrapping orders, comfortable processing payments on a manual till

General cleaning and maintenance

Due to the current high temperatures, we have made the decision to **close for the day** to give our hardworking staff a well-deserved break.

After months of working through these high temperatures and doing our best to keep serving our customers, we feel it is only right that our team gets a chance to rest, recover and enjoy some time away from the heat.
