Our family friendly 'Brewery Tap and Grill' is situated right on the working harbour in Ilfracombe, and boasts a large beer garden with a spectacular triumvirate of views, up the Bristol Channel, Irish Sea and Welsh coastline and out to the Atlantic. Since taking over management of The Pier on the 13th of September, we have begun a much needed 6 month renovation project - So come in for a beer, a bite to eat and bear with us whilst we build a beautiful pub!

We’re expecting it to be a popular evening, and space on our terrace is limited — so rather than taking your chances on the night, book ahead and guarantee your table for one of the best views of the eclipse in Ilfracombe.

Well what a weekend Ilfracombe had . The shanty festival was absolutely fantastic , lots of fabulous people singing all the costumes looked amazing and a big thanks to the staff who worked so hard and big shout to all the amazing people who supported the event . The back of the pub was absolutely packed for the last sing song which was incredible to see and listen , thanks once again .:)

Overlooking the boats rocking in the harbour, The Pier Tavern hosts one of our largest stages for the shanty festival and will be where the final sing up at the end of Sunday afternoon will be held.

This beautiful venue enjoys a well-stocked bar and serves great food. With the doors flung open on hot days, it's a great location to watch the world go by. Make sure you visit some of the performances in here.
