The American Garden The American Garden is a hidden gem of astounding beauty, a treasure awaiting discovery. Open 2pm - 5:30pm every weekend in May.

Named after the Californian Redwood tree planted 150 years ago at its centre, The American Garden remains a place of tranquility, brimming with a vibrant array of rhododendrons and scented azaleas, interwoven by sunlit glades and meandering pathways. Entrance: Adults - £7.50, Children - Free. Sorry, no dogs and no picnics in the garden.

That's it for our garden season! Thank you so much to everyone who came along - it's been wonderful to see our regulars back again and lots of new faces too 🙂 Thank you, as ever, to our fantastic cake supplier, Steep Street Coffee House! If you'd like to seek out a slice of their delicious cake (and the rest of their excellent menu) they can be found on the Old High Street in Folkestone.

Next up for us is the Pick Your Own fruit season, starting with cherries at the end of June! Please follow our page at Garden House Orchards, where we will be posting weekly updates of the crops available for picking 🍒🍎🍏🍒

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the garden today! It's our final day of the season tomorrow (Sunday) so gates will open for the garden for the last time this year at 2pm.

As mentioned in yesterday's post, as it's our final weekend, our earlier varieties have gone over but the later ones are coming through with a lovely display of our mauves and the new, young specimens dotted around the middle pathways of the garden 🙂

If you'd like a last dose of garden tranquility followed by a cuppa and some cake, we're open both tomorrow and Sunday, 2pm until 5:30pm.

Adults: £7.50
Children: free

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the garden today! We'll be open again tomorrow at 2pm. It's the last weekend of our garden opening season! Our earlier varieties have gone over but the later ones are coming through with a lovely display of our mauves and the new, young specimens we've planted over the last few years 🙂

If you'd like a last dose of garden tranquility followed by a cuppa and some cake, gates will open tomorrow (Friday) at 2pm. We will then be open both Saturday and Sunday, 2pm until 5:30pm.
