The Barn Guest House and Tearoom Family run, dog friendly B&B & Tearoom, nestled in the heart of Hutton Le Hole, the most picturesque village in Yorkshire

We have a selection of 6 well presented spacious rooms - single, double, twin and family suites
- all of which have en-suite facilities and are equipped with colour flat screen television, central heating, hairdryer and complimentary beverage tray. Breakfast is served in the tearoom, overlooking the beautiful village green, where sheep can often be seen grazing. You can look forward to being offered anything from a full English breakfast to a lighter continental style breakfast We are very proud to serve Yorkshire tea, or our excellent coffee alongside a selection of speciality teas. The residents' lounge is spacious, attractive and welcoming, with open fire for cool evenings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout most of the establishment. Tea Rooms

Our licensed tea rooms are open daily. We offer a range of teas and coffees, homemade cakes, puddings, bread and snacks and also more substantial meals, all delicious using the freshest
local produce where possible. The tea room has a log fire, for added warmth and comfort.

We’re so lucky to have such lovely independent tearooms in our Yorkshire villages. Sarah at the old school room has this much deserved praise!
If you’re out and about, why not pop in for a cuppa and something tasty? ☕🍰 You could always start with all day breakfast at the barn, take in the Ryedale Folk Museum , Hutton le Hole Craft Workshops or one the walks from the village and then pop up to ice-cream from Shop On The Green - Hutton Le Hole and The Old School House Deli and Bakery for a cuppa and cake!

What a glorious day here in God’s Own Country, absolutely perfect for getting out and about and enjoying the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. 🌿🍁

🔥 IT'S GETTING HOT! 🔥

It’s a sizzling 38°C in the kitchen and already 29°C in the Tearoom! 🥵

The Barn is a beautiful building and lovely, but is of an age and, sadly, without air conditioning. For the safety and wellbeing of our staff, we’re sorry to say that the Tearoom will be closed today.

We’ll be back Saturday as usual, serving up our famous all-day breakfasts, delicious food and plenty of iced drinks to keep you cool! 🧊🥤🍳

Thank you for your understanding, stay cool! ☀️💛

Waste not, want not! Our flowers are always glad of an extra drink 💦 (and we couldn't let good Yorkshire Tea go to waste, could we?)
