The Lifeboat is a classic inn; step through our door and you can feel the history that is soaked into the very timbers of the building. Order a drink at a bar which has served guests for generations, sit by the fireplace which has kept winter’s chill at bay through the ages, and enjoy the same welcoming atmosphere that has existed here for centuries. We consider ourselves to be very lucky to have such incredible provenance on the doorstep, and our chefs take great delight in producing locally sourced meals, that embrace the regions nautical heritage. We serve excellent traditional food and our menu explores regional British fare from land and sea. Enjoy coastal breezes and friendly greetings. Drift off to sleep in ultra-comfortable beds.
