Old Town Beach Cafe is looking for a Service Cook to join our fast-paced, friendly team!

You’ll be cooking fresh food to order from our cafe menu and helping us deliver great service during our busy periods , especially over summer. Weekend availability is essential, and full training is provided. This is a full time, permanent position.

Did you know…?

The building that is now our cafe has been standing since 1867!

Originally built as the first RNLI controlled lifeboat station in the village, it has seen everything from horse-launched lifeboats to today’s modern rescue crews.

In 1900, a larger RNLI boathouse was built, the one the lifeboat station uses today and the original 1867 building was repurposed as a beach shop and cafe.

Since then, it’s welcomed families, walkers, locals, and holidaymakers, serving home-cooked food, cakes, and coffees with a sea view, all while carrying a piece of local heritage. ❤️

We still hear “I’ve lived here for years and never knew this café was here!” 😄

So next time you’re wandering Old Hunstanton beach, come say hello... you might just discover a 'new' café in a 150-year-old building. 😉
