Today we celebrate 45 years since we opened. A poignant day without Mum but still an amazing achievement. Thank you to all our staff past & present who have helped us achieve this. Thank you also to our customers, without you we also wouldn’t have made 45 years. Many of you have become good friends over the years.

Our neighbours Chadawn chose today as their official opening day so we were delighted to have the Bellman come and do the official opening and celebration announcements. Thank you Julian.

Message from our dear Rose’s son Will …

In memory of Rose Beattie 💛

My sister and I will be taking part in a charity fundraiser to honour our lovely mum Rose. 30+ other people will be braving walking on hot coals with us at the end of September. We are attempting to raise £5,000 for Newbury Cancer Care, who provided such incredible care and support to mum in her final weeks.

Our mum was a remarkable woman, wife, mother and grandmother. I’m sure many of you would have known her from seeing her around town over the years, or from visiting the Tutti Pole. Her kindness was a true strength, alongside her ability to talk to anyone with a smile on her face.

Raising funds for a charity, now very close to our hearts, seems the least we can do to honour mum. To know we’ve contributed towards supporting others that may be experiencing a similar journey to mum’s will be very heartwarming. But, we do need a little help in sharing our fundraising link. Any donations or sharing of the link would be greatly appreciated, and go a little way towards healing the pain of loosing an incredible human, that we had the pleasure of calling our mum.

We had a couple of luxury afternoon teas booked this afternoon but sadly the customers had to cancel but not before we had prepared for it so rather than it go to waste I shared it with someone I had a meeting booked in with, it was so yummy & a real treat 😋
