have enough information we will complete 3 samples roughly 300mm x 300mm and present them to you when we are completely satisfied. When you are happy and have chosen your desired sample we will then set too making your project . There are usually 2 ways in how we do this. number 1 for example, would be to say, if you wanted an overlay on a kitchen work surface we would come to your home/business and check the surface over, if we are satisfied we can perform an overlay safely and satisfactory we will sheet and tape the required areas efficiently and continue with the overlay system procedure. However please be aware this is dependent on how we choose to perform the overlay to get the best result for your project, as some systems may be too hazardous to perform in your home with people present. Please also be aware that this may usually take between 2 and 5 days to complete the process which would mean your kitchen would be out of use temporarily .The beauty of carrying out the process in this way is it would lead to a seamless surface (no joints). The other way would be to take measurements or a template of your existing work surface( again this depends on the system chosen) and carry out the procedure in our unit this is how we would usually make a new bespoke or unique work top which would be around 40mm - 50mm thick unless requested or stated otherwise. if we decide to carry out the process in this way ,as an overlay, the thickness of the new overlay would be between 7mm - 20mm unless stated otherwise. because each of CrystalCretes surface overlay systems are all individually unique to each other or bespoke and personal to the client ,each project is designed and managed different and requires careful and strategic planning. if you have any questions or would like to put an idea to us please do not hesitate to ask
