With the football season back we wanted to remind people of a wonderful charity that exists helping the local community and thats Huddersfield Town Foundation

Last weekend Amber (in the video) and some locals went down to zipline across the stadium to raise money for this charity and it was so fun! Of course Amber requested going from the roof or trying bungee jumping off a crane in the stadium next year for more thrills 😂

These guys do amazingly and we spoke to some locals afterwards when we came back and found that so many people we know are positively affected by this group especially with their school meals initiative and supporting special needs schools

Football isnt just about cheering for your favourite team but also about supporting your community so make sure to go follow these guys on socials and anytime they do another event like this make sure to go along, not only do you get to have fun but you get to make a difference for your town

We do have alot of savory snacks for Huddersfield International Crisp Fest but for those sweet tooths out there don't worry we do have some sweeter snacks for you to enjoy like these chocolate churro snacks

These will be used in our crisp butty and beer event as a dessert sandwich to finish the event off so if you love a good sweet treat then book into our butty event (dm us or book on eventbrite) or just get down bright and early on 2nd October when it all kicks off to grab a bag before they all go

We are delighted to be featured in The Good Beer Guide 2027!!

This is the 4th year we have been included in the beer guide since we have opened alongside some other cracking venues across Huddersfield and across the UK

The Good Beer Guide has 54 editions highlighting boozers and venues that sell an exceptional pint and we are over the moon to be one of them in this edition

From today you are able to purchase the Good Beer Guide or if you don't want to buy one then we have a copy you can have a nosy in

As well as highlighting venues across the UK it also includes some interesting information on different beer types and also the basics to brewing beers plus much more

Finally a big thank you to everyone who has supped and supported us and we hope you continue to enjoy the real ale we serve so we can continue to receive this recognition

We're going to go check this out today and get our library cards, don't forget theres events on this week at the library with a showcase for makers space, 'How to party in Pompeii' talking about food and dining, 'Danger History Ahead' talking about local stories, 'Frankenstein' with Jacob Elordi and lots lots more!

Czechtober fest was kick started with a tasting event with Martin on Saturday and we had alot of fun! We were taught how to do Czech pours and learnt alot about the history of their beers and tried a range of styles

If you missed out then dont worry we still have some bottles and cans in the fridges from the craftier lot and we've still got some traditional styles on the keg line up but they are all selling fast so make sure to get a pint sooner rather than later
