I’m absolutely over the moon to share that The Beggar & Gentleman, Hoyland has been named a FINALIST for BEST TURNAROUND at the Craft Union Operator Awards 2026! ❤️🏆

And what makes this even more special is that we’ve been selected from around 650 Craft Union pubs across the country! 🤯👏

To say I’m proud is an understatement.

We’ve put so much hard work, time and passion into turning this pub around and making it somewhere Hoyland can be proud of. But this recognition isn’t just about me — it belongs to everyone who has supported us.

To all our regulars, staff, friends, sports teams, entertainers and our fantastic local community — THANK YOU. ❤️

Every pint you’ve bought, every event you’ve attended, every post you’ve liked or shared, and every time you’ve walked through our doors has played a part.

We’ve already seen some brilliant events across our pubs, from live music and festivals to community celebrations, all while raising money for some incredible causes ❤️

Now we’re gearing up for the BIG August Bank Holiday weekend, when even more of our Craft Fests will be taking place! 🎉🍻

And there’s more… the Craft Fest Campervan Tour hits the road this week, making its first stop at The Endeavour! 🚐

Behind that number are teams giving their time, guests showing their generosity, communities coming together and moments that remind us what our pubs are all about.
